Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • The provision of quality food and beverage products to a diverse client base.
  • General cleaning duties within kitchen and public seating areas.
  • Responding to management instructions.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer‑focused environment.
  • Ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage, including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events (desirable).
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Welcome guests politely and maintain good customer relations.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
  • Up‑sell with latest departmental incentives.
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets.
  • Prepare set‑ups for tables and/or rooms.
  • Compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene/cleaning in restaurant/back‑of‑house areas.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
  • Comply with local licensing laws.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

Required Criteria

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Must be available to work shifts between 6 am and 5 pm (e.g., 6 am‑12 noon, 11 am‑5 pm).

Desired Criteria

  • 6 months food and beverage experience.

Contract Type Fulltime

Salary From £8.50 Hourly to £12.75 Hourly
