A well established Central London firm is looking for a solicitor to Head their Family Law department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Family Law department, including an existing privately funded family law caseload.
- Supervise an associate solicitor and junior support staff.
- Oversee business development to support growth, building on the work of the current head of department who is moving to a directorship role within the firm.
- Participate in monthly Head of Department meetings at the office; the role is essentially fully remote with limited in-office attendance. If a client insists on a face-to-face meeting, attendance may be required; this is infrequent but can occur.

- Minimum of 7 years’ PQE in family law.
- Head of Department experience is essential.
