A new vacancy has arisen with a law firm in London providing fully remote services and looking for a locum to cover from the 21st May 2026 to 25th June 2026 inclusive. Fully remote role, and details below:

Firm looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to provide support during holiday leave for a consultant solicitor. The role is suited to a confident and self-sufficient fee earner who is comfortable managing files with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
  • Taking client calls and providing clear, practical advice
  • Dealing with enquiries, requisitions, and lender requirements
  • Preparing reports on title and reporting to clients and lenders
  • Reviewing contracts, transfers, leases, and title documents
  • Liaising with agents, lenders, solicitors, and management companies
  • Handling exchange and completion processes
  • General file management and progression
Requirements
  • Strong experience in residential conveyancing (freehold and leasehold)
  • Confident communicator, comfortable speaking directly with clients
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience with reports on title and lender requirements essential
Working arrangement

Fully remote working
