A new vacancy has arisen with a law firm in London providing fully remote services and looking for a locum to cover from the 21st May 2026 to 25th June 2026 inclusive. Fully remote role, and details below:
Firm looking for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to provide support during holiday leave for a consultant solicitor. The role is suited to a confident and self-sufficient fee earner who is comfortable managing files with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities- Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
- Taking client calls and providing clear, practical advice
- Dealing with enquiries, requisitions, and lender requirements
- Preparing reports on title and reporting to clients and lenders
- Reviewing contracts, transfers, leases, and title documents
- Liaising with agents, lenders, solicitors, and management companies
- Handling exchange and completion processes
- General file management and progression
- Strong experience in residential conveyancing (freehold and leasehold)
- Confident communicator, comfortable speaking directly with clients
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines
- Practical, solutions-focused approach
- Experience with reports on title and lender requirements essential
