A medium sized law firm with a completely remote working ethos are looking for a solicitor to join them on an ongoing basis. The firm are looking ideally for a commercial solicitor to work as a consultant on a part time basis. They specialise in one sector (medical) but the work is split along conventional lines and specific sector experience is not necessary. Experience of dealing with the medical sector and relevant contracts is very welcome. Any exposure to partnership type structures (GP practices in particular) and NHS contracts would be very useful.
There is a requirement for a minimum commitment of 7-10 hours per week, but they can discuss longer – 2-3 days per week is quite possible. Good hourly rates paid.
Although the firm operate remotely they do like to keep a team ethos going within the business, so they get all their consultants together for meetings and social events in the London or Surrey area. This is a good opportunity to add additional work to a portfolio if you have existing work elsewhere. Important to specify that this role requires a long term commitment – this is ongoing work. Also need evidence of a strong background in a Legal 100 firm setting or equivalent in house or similar.
