We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves performing various manual tasks in support of construction, maintenance, or manufacturing projects. The Skilled Labourer will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects on time and to specification. You will require your own car for this role if you do not live in the surrounding area. This will be a dayshift position.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and structures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
