Warehouse / Stores Person – temporary
Our client is seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse / Stores Person – on a temp basis – to support daily operations within a fast-paced manufacturing stores environment. The role combines hands‑on warehouse activity with administrative stock control responsibilities.
Hourly Pay Rates (includes holiday pay)
Shift rotation: 2 weeks dayshift then 2 weeks nightshift and so on.
Dayshift (2 weeks) – Monday to Friday 7am – £19.30ph
Nightshift (2 weeks) – Monday to Thursday 7pm to 7am, 4 shifts per week – £28.96ph
Overtime available every week paid up to £38.96ph
Key Duties
- Receive, check and issue stock, accurately recording all movements on the ERP system
- Produce GRNs and liaise with Purchasing as required
- Prepare kits and issue materials to the production line
- Monitor stock levels and manage discrepant or defective materials
- Maintain a clean, organised stores area in line with 6S standards
- Uphold health, safety and wellbeing standards at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse/stores experience essential; manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Movex/M3 advantageous)
- Forklift licence or relevant experience (training available)
- Familiarity with 5S/6S environments
- Good IT skills and strong numerical accuracy
