The role involves joining a team in London as a Talent Acquisition Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about attracting exceptional talent, delivering outstanding candidate experiences, and helping shape the future workforce of the business. The role includes working on a diverse array of roles across multiple sectors, focusing on hiring into the region’s largest sites (Cape Town, London, and Switzerland). The manager will act as a trusted recruitment partner to the London‑based Executive Committee, leading hiring initiatives across all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership and C‑suite appointments.

Key responsibilities

  • Talent Attraction & Sourcing
    • Create engaging job adverts and compelling candidate communications that showcase the employer brand.
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions and role specifications in partnership with hiring managers.
    • Advertise vacancies across appropriate channels including job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and specialist organisations.
    • Proactively source and engage high‑quality candidates through LinkedIn, talent databases, and other sourcing channels.
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future business needs.
    • Network with prospective candidates and act as an ambassador for the company, promoting the benefits of joining the team.
    • Manage internal recruitment campaigns, employee referral programmes, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Recruitment Delivery
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance and pre‑employment screening.
    • Own candidate management through the Applicant Tracking System (Workable), ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
    • Screen applications, conduct telephone/video interviews, and support hiring managers throughout assessment and interview stages.
    • Coordinate recruitment activities including assessments, interviews, and stakeholder feedback sessions.
    • Ensure candidates receive timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
    • Support offer management and salary negotiations while ensuring expectations are clearly communicated.
    • Partner closely with People Experience and HR colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding transitions.
  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders across the organisation.
    • Create recruitment plans for vacancies, including timelines, assessment methodologies, and hiring milestones.
    • Provide regular recruitment updates and market insights to key stakeholders.
    • Partner closely with colleagues across the global recruitment team to share best practice and support business objectives.
  • Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing
    • Design, plan, and deliver employer branding initiatives to enhance the reputation as an employer of choice.
    • Support recruitment marketing campaigns across digital and social channels.
    • Work with external advertising platforms to maximise candidate attraction and campaign performance.
    • Ensure all vacancy information is accurate and up to date across careers sites and recruitment channels.
  • Recruitment Operations & Reporting
    • Monitor and manage recruitment costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce agency spend.
    • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and recruitment partners.
    • Support Preferred Supplier List (PSL) management, including supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
    • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, campaign performance, and hiring outcomes.
    • Share insights, learnings, and recommendations from recruitment campaigns.
    • Maintain workforce planning data, including vacancy tracking and FTE requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
    • Stay informed about recruitment market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
    • Contribute to talent acquisition projects and other ad hoc recruitment initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable success in in‑house recruitment, with experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through to interviewing, offer management, pre‑employment screening, and onboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including direct sourcing, candidate engagement, employer branding, and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, to identify and attract high‑quality talent.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries and regions would be highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation, recruitment compliance requirements, and best practices, ensuring all hiring activities are conducted in line with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional language skills would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilise Microsoft Office applications and ATS platforms to track, analyse, and report on recruitment performance metrics.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI‑powered tools and technology to improve efficiency, automate administrative tasks, and enhance recruitment processes.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, delivering results in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • As the first point of contact for many prospective employees, a confident communicator with outstanding relationship‑building skills, capable of engaging, influencing, and creating positive experiences for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Guidelines for Hybrid/Home Office

  • Located in London. A hybrid working arrangement is required – at least 2x a week in the office.
  • A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
  • Minimum internet speeds must be met for the hybrid model, checked during the recruitment process and again when you join.
