About the Role
As a Door Window and Fenestration Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise site surveys for a wide range of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure the accurate specification, measurement, and installation feasibility of doors and specialist windows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site surveys for doors, windows and defence products.
- Interpret customers' drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Provide technical advice to clients and liaise with production and the office.
- Liaise with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Create simple formatted reports, measurements, and documentation for each project.
- Identify potential on-site issues and recommend cost-effective solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in fenestration or double glazing as a surveyor or a related construction field.
- Strong understanding of door and window systems and glazing.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- CSCS card and relevant safety certifications (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable - But NOT essential:
- Qualifications in Construction, Fenestration Surveying, or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of automated door systems or fire-rated glazing.
