About the role
We are looking for a passionate Soft Tissue Therapist (Sports Massage) to join our multidisciplinary team. Ten Health & Fitness is one of London’s leading clinics, offering an integrated mix of Dynamic Reformer Pilates, physiotherapy, massage therapy and clinical exercise prescription across our ten locations. We are renowned for the quality and expertise of our teams and the end-to-end care that we provide our clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Massage therapy – treating clients (principally office workers who lead active or sedentary lifestyles)
  • Working with clients’ expectations – sports massage, therapeutic/relaxing massage, treating specific MSK issues or holistic full body treatment
  • Giving home care advice (after-session care, stretches, exercises) and creating treatment plans for follow up sessions
  • Liaising with other practitioners where appropriate (physio, trainers)
  • SOAP notes for sessions (reflecting requirements for health professionals)

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of level 4 or level 5 qualification in Sports Massage*
  • Registration with SMA, CNHC, ISRM, FHT or another professional body
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Confidence in treating common MSK conditions
  • Experience and/or interest in treating patients in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in professional communication with clients/colleagues
  • Genuine passion and interest in pursuing a career in massage therapy
  • Open to being mentored/developed as a professional Massage Therapist
  • Prenatal massage, scar therapy, assisted stretch, MET/PNF, myofascial release, cupping and dry needling qualifications are a bonus
