A purpose-built independent referral centre is seeking a Veterinary Medic to lead and grow its Internal Medicine service. This is a unique opportunity to be the sole Internal Medicine clinician, taking full ownership of the service while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary referral team.

The Opportunity:
This role focuses on developing and leading the Internal Medicine offering within a modern referral environment. As the sole medic on site, you will take clinical ownership of cases while working closely with a Diplomate Soft Tissue Surgeon and wider referral team for collaborative case management. You’ll manage a varied and interesting caseload, with the autonomy to influence the direction, growth, and standards of the service from the outset. Ideal for someone who enjoys high-level clinical work and is motivated by the opportunity to build something of their own within a supportive, independent setting. Applications are welcomed from Certificate Holders, Advanced Practitioners, Residency Trained clinicians, and Diplomates in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

The Team:
Join a highly experienced, growing multidisciplinary team including Diplomates, Advanced Practitioners, and Certificate Holders. Supported by skilled RVNs, patient care assistants, and dedicated support staff, all working within a culture of collaboration, open discussion, and continuous development.

- Karl Storz endoscopy and rigid scopes
- Mindray Doppler ultrasound
- Full advanced diagnostic and treatment suite
About You:
- Certificate Holder, Advanced Practitioner, Residency Trained or Diplomate in Small Animal Internal Medicine
- Confident working as a lead clinician within your discipline
