Our client is a privately owned practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated night and weekend team, working a rota of 7 nights on, 14 nights off, including Saturday and Sunday day shifts. This spacious, modern hospital is well-equipped to provide comprehensive clinical care and handle diverse caseloads.

Working Hours / Rota

The rota is structured as 7 nights on, 14 nights off, including daytime shifts on weekends.

Role Responsibilities

The Veterinary Surgeon will handle routine and emergency small animal cases, providing clinical care during night and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include surgeries, diagnostics, patient monitoring, and maintaining high clinical standards.

Team Composition

3.5 Vets, 5 Nurses, 2 Support Staff, and 5 additional team members.

Practice Details

This modern facility offers extensive natural lighting, 6 consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres, dedicated break room, and spacious cat and dog wards. The hospital is fully equipped to efficiently handle a variety of medical and surgical cases.

The Ideal Candidate

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years UK veterinary experience, with preference given to those with 5+ or 10+ years. The ideal candidate is confident working independently during night shifts, demonstrates clinical excellence, and thrives in an emergency environment.
