Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead their team within a warm and welcoming environment.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to step into a leadership role, or for a current Head Nurse seeking a new and rewarding challenge. The role follows a standard rota pattern with no out-of-hours requirements and excellent work-life balance.

The practice is home to a well-established and collaborative team comprising a Lead Vet, experienced support staff, and dedicated PCAs. The team works closely together to deliver a high standard of clinical care and client service.

As Head Nurse, the successful candidate will take ownership of leading the nursing team, setting and upholding clinical standards, overseeing nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. The role includes coordinating daily duties, supporting the wider clinical team, and mentoring junior staff to encourage continuous development and clinical growth.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with proven experience in patient care, surgical support, and leadership. They should be confident in nurse consults and mentoring others, with a commitment to promoting a progressive clinical culture.
