Job Summary

The Web Merchandiser will play a vital role in the execution of the online merchandising strategy, ensuring the optimal presentation of products and categories on our e-commerce platform, Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

This role will focus on delivering an engaging and seamless customer experience, driving conversion rates, and supporting the achievement of sales goals through excellent product content, category management, and promotional execution.

A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and SEO is required to manage minor adjustments, troubleshoot content display issues, and optimize content for search engines.

Working with

  • Collaborate with the E-commerce Manager to execute merchandising strategies.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to ensure alignment on brand guidelines and content quality.
  • Partner with the development team for platform enhancements and technical troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with our subsidiaries for content updates, translations, and promotional assets.
  • Cooperate with analytics team to track performance and help make data-driven decisions.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area

  • Manage the online product catalog, ensuring accurate and complete product descriptions, images, and metadata.
  • Optimize category pages for search, usability, and conversion, leveraging Salesforce Commerce Cloud tools.
  • Create and schedule promotional banners, landing pages, and other content updates.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust positioning, categorization, or promotion strategies accordingly.
  • Use analytics tools to identify trends, measure success, and provide actionable insights to improve site performance.
  • Ensure website content is up to date, including seasonal updates and product launches.
  • Implement basic HTML and CSS edits to improve content presentation and resolve minor layout issues.
  • Optimize on-site content for SEO, ensuring proper use of keywords, tags, and meta descriptions.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on site updates to ensure functionality and consistency across devices.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to suggest improvements and innovations.
  • Technical Skills and Experience
  • Experience (1+ years) in an e-commerce or digital merchandising role.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including Business Manager tools for product and content management.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and SEO principles to improve content presentation and search visibility.
  • Basic proficiency with analytics tools (e. g., Google Analytics) to track and report on site performance.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, cross-selling strategies, and user experience principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
