Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Client based in Dudley, are looking for an experienced Traffic Engineering Lead to join their team and play a crucial role within their Transport & Highways.
Position: Traffic Engineering Lead
Rate: £250 per day (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (April 2027) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Job Purpose:
- To lead and direct the design and implementation of Traffic Management and Road safety schemes. Advise on traffic management strategy and policy and manage a small team delivering traffic management schemes and Traffic Regulation Orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Directing on traffic management and road safety technical and legal matters.
- To manage in an efficient and effective manner delivery of works to ensure budgets and programme are met so that costs and income are controlled.
- To identify contract risks and develop risk registers and associated risk allowances for quantitative evaluation.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
