Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Berkshire, are looking for an experienced Technical Officer Home Improvement Agency to join their team and play a crucial role within their Repairs Operations
Position: Technical Officer Home Improvement Agency
Rate: £35.74 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties:
- Visit service users in their own homes and assess the building work required having regard to their individual choices, the adaptations needed in the property, in consultation with carers, Care Managers, OTs, etc.
- To advise the Home Improvement Agency manager where external Specialists or consultants need to be engaged.
- Maintain a register of preferred Contractors, which will be regularly reviewed / updated, and to ensure that all contractors listed comply with statutory requirements , have appropriate public and employee liability insurance, and are CRB-checked, where appropriate.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Technical Officer Home Improvement Agency or similar role
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Driving License and Vehicle Required
