Team Manager - Childrens Services

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the West Yorkshire region, to work within the Localities and Integrated Front Door team.

Position: Team Manager
Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

Purpose:
Supporting a team Social Workers, to quality assurance their work, in line with councils policies and procedures, and childrens social care legislations.

Job Responsibilities:
– Chairing multiagency meetings, both internal and external.
– Case allocation and management, ensuring cases have a SMART, outcome focused plan.
– Supervision and appraisals to ensure appropriate social work practices are in place.
– Quality assurance and Audits of records, assessments, documents and more.
– Decision making in line with budget management and best outcome for the service and young people involved in your care.

Job Requirements:
– Must has 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Team Manager experience within childrens services.
– Enhanced DBS – Registered to the update service (preferably)
– Registered with Social Work England
– Recognised Social Work Qualification
