Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? Our client is looking for a Social Worker to join their Family Resourcing and Safeguarding service, just outside of Southwest London.
Position: MAP Social Worker
Rate: Up to £42 p/h
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Purpose:
- You’ll work within a Family Resourcing and Safeguarding service, supporting children and families through assessment, safeguarding and social care interventions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children and families, completing assessments and statutory social work.
- Work with families and partner agencies to identify needs and reduce risk.
- Develop and review plans, ensuring children remain at the centre of decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records and complete work within statutory timescales.
Job Requirements:
- Previous Local Authority Children's Social Care experience is essential. Please do not apply if you have not worked within a Local Authority setting.
- Social Work qualification with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience of assessment, safeguarding and managing a statutory caseload.
- Strong communication, recording and multi-agency working skills.
