Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in South England, are looking for a Children's Social Workers to work within a Young Person Service, supporting with Safeguarding and Risk of Care.
Position: Social Worker - Safeguarding & Risk of Care
Contract Duration: 3 monthswith Possible Extension
Essentials:
- High quality safeguarding skills within Children Services
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE
- Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Delivering community based services to young people, including assessment planning and implementing treatment plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Duty work, including referrals and assessments for CIN, providing advice to meet child needs.
• 1-1 Support and group supervision, to ensure team standards are met in line with child safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Protection and safeguarding of children and young people. working directly with other teams and resources.

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience within a Safeguarding team.
• Case management, Assessment and Intervention, Safeguarding
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
