Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Wiltshire, are looking for an experienced Strategic Manager - Highways and Transport to join their team and play a crucial role in their Highway Operations.
Position: Strategic Manager - Highways and Transport
Rate: £500 per day (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as principal support to the Head of Highways and Transport across all aspects of service planning and delivery.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budget monitoring and reporting processes.
- Oversee highways maintenance, transport and infrastructure programmes to ensure delivery to time, cost and quality requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise across highways maintenance, network management, traffic management, transport planning and related service areas.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Strategic Manager - Highways and Transport or similar role
- Degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline
