Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Somerset, are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor Major Projects (Housing) to join their team and play a crucial role in their Construction Operations.

Position: Project Surveyor Major Projects (Housing)

Rate: £55 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Work arrangement: Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with architects, planners and construction consultants throughout the duration of assigned projects.
  • Ideally you should also have knowledge and experience in retrofit cladding systems.
  • Negotiate with Contractors where disputes arise to achieve resolution at site level wherever possible.
  • Fulfil all responsibilities/duties as required under Health & Safety Regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience that demonstrate your knowledge of building defects and solutions, as well as a track record of managing different types of contracts and working with contractors and sub-contractors delivering large refurbishment projects.
  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • At least 2 years experience within a Project Surveyor Major Projects (Housing) or equivalent.
