Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Somerset, are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.

Position: Project Surveyor
Rate:
£300 daily rate (Umbrella)
Contract Duration:
12 Months
Work arrangement:
Hybrid


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a window replacement programme across the City, ensuring high‑quality repairs, improvements, and maintenance to the housing, buildings.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation—including Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act 2022, Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, and Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) 2018—while achieving value for money and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake inspections, surveys, and condition assessments of dwellings, buildings, and land.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree, HNC, or equivalent construction‑related qualification plus relevant practical experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through significant experience in building, surveying, or a similar construction environment.
  • Post holder must hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use.
  • At least 2 year experience within a Project Surveyor or equivalent.
