HR Consultant to join their team and play a crucial role in their human resources operations.
Position: HR Consultant (EDI)
Salary: Β£42,839 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Mainly Remote
Purpose:
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
- Working across the HR Service and wider organisation, the post holder will embed EDI into our People and Culture strategy, driving a culture where diversity is celebrated. This includes reviewing recruitment practices to improve how we diversify talent pipelines, creating learning opportunities that foster conscious inclusion, and empowering leaders to build safe spaces where everyone can bring their whole selves to work.
- Review, update, and design inclusive HR policies, procedures, and corporate EDI strategies.
- Provide expert, pragmatic advice to managers on complex employee relations, ensuring fair, evidence-based resolutions.
- Contribute to learning and development tools that build EDI competence across directorates.
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, or appropriate and demonstrable experience, knowledge and skills with commitment to become a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
