  • PAY RATE: £40,221 - £47,420 (Dependent on experience)
  • WORK TYPE: Temporary

JOB SUMMARY

The Social Worker will work within a Children and Families Team undertaking statutory duties for children and families in need or in need of protection.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing essential support and intervention for families in CiN, CP and Court processes
  • Facilitating changes and implementing permanence plans when necessary
  • Collaborating with families to meet assessed needs and support safety planning
  • Working towards positive outcomes for children and families

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Current registration with Social Work England (SWE)
  • Completion of the Skills for Care ASYE Programme or equivalent demonstration of professional capabilities if alternative route to social work (e.g. non-UK based initial year in practice) or pre-ASYE qualification
  • Experience working in Children's and families team
