Social Worker - Children in Care

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in East England, are looking for a Social Worker to work within the Children In Care team.

Position: Social Worker
Rate: £37.86 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months

Purpose:
Establish consistently social work practice for children who need the most care, through your own expertise of coaching and supervision.

Job Responsibilities:
– Direct working with children and families, supporting colleagues in their roles; particularly students on placement and ASYE staff.
– Achieve strong outcomes for children in care, provide support to colleagues and families.
– Support with return to home, pathway planning, adoption and permanency planning.
– Chairing meetings, such as stability and permanency to provide practice guidance.

Job Requirements:
– Must has 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Social Work experience within childrens services.
– Enhanced DBS – Registered to the update service (preferably)
– Registered with Social Work England
– Recognised Social Work Qualification
