Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Yorkshire, is looking for an experienced Principal Management / Financial Accountant to join their team and play a crucial role within their Education Operation.

Position Details

  • Rate: £26.62 p/h (Umbrella)
  • Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension
  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties

  • Lead financial oversight for a maintained schools portfolio
  • Manage and develop a team of school finance specialists
  • Support budget monitoring, reporting, and financial governance across the service

Requirements

  • Ideally CCAB qualified (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role
  • Previous experience working for a Local Authority or a similar organisation
