Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Wiltshire, are looking for an experienced Commerical Property Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their property asset operations.

Position: Senior Surveyor Land & Development
Rate: Β£425 a day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6-7 months (Possible Extension)

Duties:

  • Undertake development appraisals of multiple sites and develop strategies to generate capital receipts on disposal.
  • Manage the letting, renewal and ongoing administration of commercial and agricultural tenancies.
  • Negotiate joint venture agreements with third parties on Council land holding to secure key regeneration projects.
  • Review and interpret title documents, land ownership records, leases, licences and associated property documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience in estate management.
  • Knowledge and experience of project management techniques within a similar environment.
  • Significant experience in managing a commercial portfolio and agreements for use of property and property contract related issues.
  • Good practical and procedural knowledge of public sector practice, the political environment and local government statutory obligations.
