Safeguarding Social Worker

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the South East Region, are looking for a Social Worker to work within the Family Safeguarding team.

Position: Social Worker
Rate: £39 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months

Purpose:
Managing own caseload of vulnerable childrens, delivering high quality assessment for best outcomes and supporting lesser experienced staff members.

Job Responsibilities:
– Direct working with children and families, working through assessments and court work to safeguarding children.
– Chairing and attending meetings in a mutli-disciplinary manner.
– Support with caseloads, care plans and safeguarding concerns.
– Following statutory processes for CP, CIN, PLO & CLA

Job Requirements:
– Must has 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Social Work experience within childrens services.
– Enhanced DBS – Registered to the update service (preferably)
– Registered with Social Work England
– Recognised Social Work Qualification
