Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy ALMO in Doncaster, are looking for an experienced Roofer to join their team and play a crucial role within their maintenance operations.
Position: Roofer
Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temp (Oct 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Job Purpose: To support the delivery of quality homes in quality neighbourhoods by working as part of a team carrying out renewal / repairs to pitched and flat roofs.
Job Duties:
- To renew, repair and maintain felt, tiled & slated roofs, on a range of pitched and flat roofs, including setting out for complete tile and flat roof replacements.
- To carry out pointing repairs and rebuild of chimney stacks, including associated lead works.
- To renew fascia, soffits, guttering & fall pipes, to include carrying out realignments and repairs if required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Apprentice trained Roofer with NVQ level 2, City and Guilds or equivalent (skills will be assessed as part of the interview process).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
