The predicted salary is between 60000 - 62000 € per year.

The directorate provides services that combine to improve the everyday quality of life of residents, as well as focusing on the creation of long term spatial and economic futures for the borough, its business and residents.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and deliver an annual programme of campaigns, initiatives and activities to promote and educate on road safety and sustainable travel.
  • Lead on cycle training delivery including procurement and contract management.
  • The postholder will provide a client role in overseeing the adult and children’s cycle training contracts ensuring that reporting is undertaken in accordance with funders requirements.
  • You will monitor and evaluate the cycling programme ensuring the service provides good value.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate road safety projects and services, working effectively with colleagues in the wider Transport and Projects team, Education and Children’s Services, Community Safety, and Public Health teams amongst others to improve road safety in the borough.
  • Externally you will work closely with schools, all emergency services and other London Boroughs.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge of transport and sustainable transport legislation.
  • Commission and deliver road safety training to diverse groups of people of all ages.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
