Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West Midlands, are looking for an experienced Revenues Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their revenues operations.

Position: Revenues Manager
Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Aug 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose:

• leads the billing, collection, and recovery of council tax and business rates (NDR), ensuring maximum income generation for the local authority.

Job Duties:

• Income Collection & Recovery: Manage the billing and recovery processes for Council Tax and Business Rates, ensuring timely collection.
• Operational Management: Lead and develop teams, including managing staff, team leaders, and performance targets.
• Enforcement Action: Direct recovery actions, including engaging with enforcement agencies, magistrates’ court representation, and handling debt recovery.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Substantial management experience in local government revenue collection (Council Tax).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
