Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East of England, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their children's homes operations.
Position: Project Manager (Children's Home)
Rate: £550 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension
Purpose:

• Lead the setup and successful Ofsted registration and opening of a children’s home, ensuring the home, people, policies, and systems fully comply with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and associated Quality Standards, Ofsted’s registration policy and inspection framework.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce a time-phased start-up plan covering site acquisition/fit-out, registration artifacts (SC1/SC2), staffing, policies, and go-live risk management; track critical path to Ofsted decision.
• Ensure alignment with Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations (e.g., placement planning interfaces with placing authorities/IR0s) for looked-after children.
• Draft/coordinate the Statement of Purpose, location risk assessment and core policies mapped to the Quality Standards (care, education, health, protection, leadership/management, care planning).

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Project Manager role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
