Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, within the public sector, are looking for an Occupational Therapist to support adults in maintaining independence and wellbeing within the community.

Position: Occupational Therapist

Rate: £44,937.00 per annum

Contract Duration: Permanent

Essentials:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant Degree/Diploma
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults
  • Enhanced DBS required for this position
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation

Purpose: Working with adults with a range of needs, supporting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing through specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
  • Manage caseloads and complete complex and functional assessments
  • Recommend and arrange specialist equipment and property adaptations
  • Review and update care plans with service users and carers
  • Support independence through appropriate care packages and referrals
  • Follow safeguarding, Health Safety, and best practice guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvements
