Are you eager to land a brand new PERMANENT role? Our client, based in the West Midlands, are looking for a Childrens Social Worker to work within the Assessment Team.

Position: Childrens Social Worker

Rate: £36,363 - £40,777 per annum

Contract Duration: PERMANENT

Purpose: To be the first point of contact for children, young people and families in need of support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct working with children and families, alongside other staff and partner agencies.
  • Prioritise the children to ensure they are safe, heard and seen.
  • Respond to referrals, investigate concerns and make appropriate decisions.
  • Complete high quality assessments to understand circumstances, strengths and appropriate help or intervention.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have experience within Children’s Services.
  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, MSc or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and legislation.
