Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southeast England, are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their payroll operations.

Position: Payroll Manager

Rate: £31.13 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Duration: Temp (Jan 2027) Possible Extension

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Purpose: This is a key role reporting to the Head of HR Shared Services and working alongside the existing Payroll Manager to provide additional capacity for delivering business-as-usual activity and improvement plans, ensuring we deliver a high-quality, efficient payroll service while building capability for the future demand of our payroll service.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Desirable.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
