Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in Norwich, is looking for an experienced Service Charge & Rents Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing operations.
Position: Service Charge & Rents Manager
Salary: £53,820 per annum
Contract: Permanent + Hybrid Working
Purpose: The Service Charge & Rents Manager is operationally responsible for the effective management, administration, and communication of service charges and rent application for homes, homeowners, freeholders on estate and garages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the annual service charge budgets for all properties.
- Ensure the annual rent and charges are issued in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Ensure all tenants that have a service charge or personal charge receive clear and concise breakdowns of the charges, with transparent explanations for any changes in costs.
- Provide clear and transparent communication to residents regarding service charge billing, including responding to queries and explaining charges in an understandable manner.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Degree level or equivalent relevant professional qualification or qualified by experience.
- Have or are working towards a Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 3 or above, or similar - Desirable.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
