Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Motor Defence Solicitor to join their team in Lancashire.

Position: Motor Defence Solicitor
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Location: Lancashire (Hybrid)
Work Type: Permanent

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

• Handle your own caseload of defending motoring offences.
• Take detailed witness and mitigation statements as well as review the evidence to best advise the client.
• Advise clients on guilty/non-guilty pleas, costs, potential penalties and technical/procedural issues.
• Instruct and liaise with Counsel, both on day of trial and at preliminary hearings.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong previous experience in all aspects of Motoring Law.
• Law Degree, CiLEX or equivalent.
• High knowledge of the Criminal Justice System.
• Confident in advising and representing clients.
