Position: Markets & Street Trading Manager
Rate: Β£26.99 ph Umbrella
Contract Duration: 4Months possible extension
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the enforcement of the London Local Authorities Act 1990 and the drafting of new street trading licences in accordance with the street trading policy.
- Identify and respond to changes in legislation affecting the service, advise the Head of Business, Markets and Town Centres accordingly and prepare policies and procedures to ensure the effective implementation of changes to service delivery.
- Lead on the development of the markets and street trading function for the whole borough, maximising income generation through reviewing and facilitation the expansion of street trading and markets borough wide.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Excellent knowledge and recent experience as a Markets & Street Trading Manager or similar role.
