Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join their team in Manchester.
Position: Solicitor - Court of Protection (Health & Welfare)
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Work Type: Permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage a caseload consisting of Legal Aid funded Health and Welfare matters.
- Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Work on a mixture of delegated and self-generated clients.
- Attend clients in hospitals to take initial instruction and attend CPA meetings, conducting matters with due diligence at all times.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Fully qualified Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE.
- Strong Legal aid knowledge.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally.
- Eager to develop professionally into more senior roles.
