Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Youth Violence Service Team Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their Community Safety Services operations.

Salary: 53,076 per annum
Contract:
Permanent
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Purpose:

  • The post manages a team of youth violence advocates who provide specialist support for children and young people affected by violence and exploitation. They are responsible for the Community Safety Youth Violence Reduction Service successfully at delivering its aims to reduce violent harm and support those affected to thrive.
Job Responsibilities:
  • To provide effective daily management of the Youth Violence Reduction Service processes for referrals, safeguarding policies, information sharing, risk assessments and individual action plans to achieve outcomes for children affected by violence and exploitation.
  • To put in place and annually review relevant safeguarding policies and information sharing approaches within the Youth Violence Reduction Service.
  • To develop and monitor outcomes for the Youth Violence Reduction Service, identifying performance challenges and mitigation approaches as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Experience within a Youth Violence Service Team Manager role or equivalent.
  • Experience of effective staff management and development.
  • Experienced of managing work with children and young people who have been impacted by trauma and understand the impact this has in children’s lives and related behavioural responses and experience of working within whole-family, trauma informed and systemic approaches.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
