Young People Social Worker in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in London, are looking for a Social Worker to work within the 16+ Young Persons team.

Position: Social Worker
Rate: £39.04 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months

Purpose:
Managing own caseload of vulnerable young people, delivering high quality assessment for best outcomes and supporting lesser experienced staff members.

Job Responsibilities:
– Direct working with children and families, managing own caseloads.
– Achieve strong outcomes for young people through care proceeding and assessments.
– Support less experienced staff in the team and contribute towards trainings and inductions
– Multi agency working, developing good relationships for individuals and their families.

Job Requirements:
– Must has 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Social Work experience within childrens services.
– Enhanced DBS – Registered to the update service (preferably)
– Registered with Social Work England
– Recognised Social Work Qualification
