Are you an experienced Children's Social Care professional with strong team management experience? Our client is looking for a Team Manager to join their Children's Assessments Team in East London.
Position: Team Manager – Children's Assessments
Rate: £45.20 per hour
Contract Duration: 3-6 Months
Purpose:
- You’ll provide leadership and oversight within a Children's Assessments Team, supporting high-quality social work practice and positive outcomes for children and families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Children's Social Workers, providing supervision and professional support.
- Oversee assessments, caseloads, safeguarding activity and statutory work.
- Monitor performance, quality and timescales while supporting effective decision-making.
- Work with partner agencies to ensure children and families receive appropriate support.
Job Requirements:
- Previous Local Authority Children's Social Care experience is essential. Please do not apply if you have not worked within a Local Authority setting.
- Social Work qualification with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience within Children's Social Care.
- Previous Team Manager or senior management experience within a statutory children's service.
