Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in North West London, are looking for an experienced Street Works Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their construction operations.

Position: Street Works Manager
Location: North West London
Rate: Β£36.62 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 6 months (Possible Extension)

Duties:

  • Manage, co-ordinate and enforce street works, highway works and related activities undertaken by statutory undertakers, contractors, developers and other parties.
  • Oversee inspections of externally promoted highway activities and reinstatements.
  • Develop, implement and review systems, procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of street works management.
  • Manage all relevant financial processes including the preparation and monitoring of invoices, charges, permits, inspection fees, Section 74 overrun charges and related payments.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree / HNC or equivalent experience.
  • NRSWA Accredited to supervisor level.
  • Current and up to date knowledge of highway maintenance techniques
  • Current understanding of Highways Legislation.
  • Significant up to date knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA).
