Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Strategic Commissioning & Systems Development Lead to join their team and play a crucial role in their integrated commissioning operations.
Position: Strategic Commissioning & Systems Development Lead
Rate: Β£36.56 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (Dec 2026) Possible Extension
Purpose:
- To be responsible to the Head of Integrated Commissioning and Systems Development or Associate Director of Integrated Commissioning & System Development (Early Help, Social Care and Personalised Commissioning).
- Developing and implementing our integrated commissioning approach across the Council and the NHS, which enables strong partnerships and high-quality services that support Greenwich people to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.
- To be the strategic commissioning and system development lead for services for adults/children, with the direct responsibility for strategic management.
- Be responsible for financial planning and budget areas across the Council and NHS relating to key client groups and services.
- Direct experience of working in or with local authorities is strongly preferred.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification or management experience or Knowledge acquired through experience or training.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
