Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Experienced Social Housing Assessment And Lettings Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations.
Position: Social Housing Assessment And Lettings Officer
Rate: £28.19 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 9Month possibility of extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Duties:

• To investigate and assess all households who apply for housing under the Housing Act 1985 and Housing Act 1996 (Part VI).
• Contribute to meeting the Local Authorities best use of its stock objectives as well as managing the applicants’ expectations for social housing
• Support the management and administration of the choice-based lettings service, including prioritisation of applicants for viewings/offers, dealing with customer enquiries and organising the advertisement of properties.

Job Requirements:

• Experience of assessing Housing Waiting List applications and applying the terms of current legislation
• Previous experience as a Social Housing Assessment And Lettings Officer or similar role.
• Previous experience working in the Public Sector.
