Key aspects of the role include:
- Supporting social workers with assessments, direct work, home visits, safeguarding activity and multi-agency working.
- Completing chronologies, genograms and life story work, while gathering information and liaising with partner agencies.
- Coordinating meetings, maintaining accurate records and administrative systems, and acting as a key contact for families and professionals.
We are looking for someone who:
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced team.
- Understanding of children’s social care and safeguarding, with experience working sensitively and collaboratively with families and professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to equality, diversity and improving outcomes for vulnerable children; experience with case management systems is desirable.
