Single Trade Decorator in London

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Single Trade Decorator to join their team and play a crucial role within their home improvement operations.

Position: Single Trade Decorator
Rate: £27.36 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Job Purpose:

• Provide high-quality painting, decorating, and remedial work across council-owned properties, including residential homes (tenanted and void properties) and public buildings.

Job Duties:

• Painting & Decorating: Undertake internal and external painting, staining, varnishing, and wallpapering.
• Mould and Damp Treatment: Undertake mould washing, anti-mould treatments, and specialist remedial coatings.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Carry out minor repair work, such as fixing plaster, woodwork, or small joinery tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation – Desirable
• A recognised qualification or relevant experience.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
