Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker (BIA)o join their team based in East London.
JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £36 PER HOUR
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: East London
JOB SUMMARY
The Best Interest assessor assessments will relate to clients with a range of impairments including dementia, learning disability, mental health needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assessments for both standard and urgent authorisations and will include best interest assessments and mental capacity assessments
- To undertake DoLS assessments as tasked by the DoLS coordinator
- To ensure that all records and reports are completed thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner
- To promote equality as an integral part of the role and to treat everyone with fairness and dignity
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Qualified and registered as Social Worker
- Significant experience of carrying out DoLS assessments
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, Human Rights Act
