Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a skilled practitioner to join its Family Support and Safeguarding Service.
Position: Senior Social Worker – Family Support and Safeguarding
Rate: London Pledge Capped Rates
Contract Duration: 3 months initially
Location: East London
Purpose of the Role
To provide social work support to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding, assessing needs and helping achieve positive outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with children and families to assess needs and identify risks.
- Support safeguarding planning and interventions.
- Work with partner agencies and other professionals.
- Maintain clear records and contribute to effective case planning.
Job Requirements
- Relevant social work qualification and registration.
- Experience in children's social care and safeguarding.
- Ability to assess risk and work with children and families.
- Strong communication, recording and multi-agency working skills.
