Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Senior Parking Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their transport operations.
Position: Senior Parking Officer
Rate: £24.28 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully On-site
Job Purpose: To lead and undertake a range of senior administrative tasks, working efficiently and effectively and to deadlines set.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recover, receive, and record income for on and off street parking notices/offences and for permits/passes.
- Maintain all files and records, manual or digital, relating to own work area accurately.
- To visit on and off street parking facilities to carry out audit checks and inspections.
Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with penalty issuance and the statutory debt recovery process.
- Detailed working knowledge of traffic and parking contraventions, traffic management orders, and correct road markings and sign.
- Deep understanding of the Traffic Management Act 2004, enforcement legislation, local parking orders, and notice processing.
