Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer (Highways) to join their team and play a crucial role in their highway operations.
Rate: £56.60 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 6 Months Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and/or assist in progressing engineering schemes in accordance with programmes agreed with the Principal Engineer.
- Manage, design and implement traffic management, road safety, cycle infrastructure, bus priority, liveable neighbourhood, school streets, play streets and public realm enhancement projects.
- Manage and progress civil and highway engineering matters and respond to enquiries and complaints.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Traffic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Membership of, or eligibility for membership of, a relevant professional institution.
